HWg-PWR is an Ethernet-enabled device for remote monitoring and metering of electricity, heat, water gas consumption using electricity meters, water meters, gas meters, heat meters and other sensors equipped with the M-BUS interface.
HWg-PWR 3 is reading data from external 3 M-Bus meters and analyze them. Up to 100 metered values can be shown on the WEB by graphs or monitored over SNMP. HWg-PWR 3 M-Bus IP meter supports alarming through E-mail or SNMP traps whenever defined value exceed limit (current overload).
With HWg-PWR you can simply monitor energy costs (Datacenters, Remote sites, Office buildings, Family houses). Certified electro meters with M-Bus interface are used for metering, so you can use this data for billing to your customers. No current or 1 phase limits. Simply install one 63 Ampers electro meter per one cabinet and monitor it remotely over SNMP.
In a typical scenario, HWg-PWR remotely monitors an electrical network, and the user can simultaneously monitor several parameters: total electricity consumption, instantaneous electricity consumption, instantaneous voltages at individual lines, instantaneous current flowing through each line and power factor (cos ϕ) of individual lines. An allowed range of values can be configured for currents and voltages; if the instantaneous value is lower (voltage) or higher (current), an alarm is sent by e-mail or SNMP trap to your monitoring system.
